Scandinavian design style is a design movement characterized by minimalism and uniqueness. The movement appeared in the early 20th century and then developed strongly in the 1950s across five Nordic countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland.
Scandinavian Style (or Nordic style) is known for its three outstanding features: simplicity in design, sophistication in feel and comfort in use. With the perfect blend of these three characteristics, Scandinavian is favored by many interior designers and homeowners.
2.1.Materials of Scandinavian style
Wood is something that always appears in Northern European architecture. When it comes to modern design, natural wood is restrained and used less, often appearing in decoration, making some furniture and sometimes used as columns, beams and beams to remind of ancient times, bringing a bit of nature into urban apartments.
2.2.Colors of Scandinavian style
Nordic coastal design style favors white, earthy colors and natural raw materials, fur and leather to suit the local climate. However, in a modern environment, with the help of equipment such as glass doors, fireplaces, air conditioners, artificial materials... this style has been transformed to be more modern and suitable for the living environment, adapting both in the city and in apartments.
2.3.Light of Scandinavian style
Light is always an important requirement for this type of style. The most popular curtain color in Scandinavia is white to capture the most light.
Realizing the homeowner's desire to own a comfortable and convenient home, the COMPA team completed a project that, according to the homeowner, "exceeded what he expected."The project is not only a highlight for newness and modernity but also gives homeowners an ideal home.
In this project, the homeowner aims for Scandinavian style but must bring the customer's favorite color, blue, not based on the popular color of Scandinavian style often seen in other designs, this also creates a very special highlight.
Functional areas in the house are arranged scientifically, convenient for the daily activities of the whole family. The ground floor with the living room and kitchen area are interconnected, creating a feeling of closeness and connection between the whole family when dining and entertaining, and the space is also more spacious and airy.
In the first floor area, the owner suggested that it be an area for 2 children. The children will be safer if they stay on the lower floor and it will be more convenient for them to live. The highlight of the room is the color and the "super wide" bunk bed that COMPA specially made for the family.
The Master Room is located on the 2nd floor, which is the resting space for him and his wife after a long and tiring day of work, so the main color chosen will be white tones, mixed with blue to create a comfortable feeling every time you enter the room.Understanding the sister's saying 'I have nothing to wear', the owner delicately asked COMPA to design a wardrobe system with spacious space, that alone is enough to know how much he pampers his wife.
The overall interior of the entire project is meticulously and meticulously selected by the owner for each design to suit the needs of the whole family to create a comfortable, convenient living space with high aesthetic value.
